      If it ticks its not the ignition ticking its the starter solenoid best way to check is jump the 2 posts  on the solenoid take a screwdrive  and make contact with both post if your starter turns over its the solenoid

        @redeyedwolf you are so lucky I think I am obsessed with them I hate what a lot of country's are doing killing them of in 1940 in the USA there where less than 100 so they started a program to breed them back into the wild and now they are culling them also in Norway and many more it is so sad xxx

        sounds like the starter or something else in the ignition  is shot.
