Do dental charges vary due to area?

    Question updated Aug. 2, 2013

MORE SPECIFICALLY, I LIVE IN MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA... an area near the hospital has several dental offices... The quote I got for services was extremely high.. The dentisit himself said the whole block of offices had similar cost structures. Then shopping via teloephone I was able to get quotes for far less just blocks away from this area..is it really the location that demands the cost?

Yes, in a business district, the rent of a building to put an office in is going to be double or triple of that than an office outside of the business district.

Depends on the country, for instance in England,  NHS dental charges are the same.

Yes. Charges for anything varies due to area.
