        Lennon fell out with Elvis because he (Elvis) was in favour of the Vietnam war but Lennon was a pacifist.

        Roy Orbison wasn't a favourite of mine, if I was to choose a song I liked, it would be Pretty Woman.

          Pretty woman for me too, as with so many of his songs good dancing music.

          Roy had a very impressive voice, he could do miracles in vocal range and expression, his phrasing was difficult to imitate.  His musical talents were way ahead of his short time in the business, far ahead of Elvis as a singer and musician but obviously, Elvis was better looking and a superior entertainer on stage.   I like all of Roy's songs. I could listen to them all day!
