Here is a list of PDF's containing what you need to know and what you will be tested on. My suggestion, download them all, read them all, know them all. http://www.dmv.state.va.us/drivers/#cdlmanual.asp
Driving/back up skills are another thing. You should find out of you can visit the course and get a copy of the route you will drive to do the driving part of the test. Check with the DMV that does CDL testing for this information.
