He did not help retirees, but did let the world know that we were a power to be reckoned with. He certainly had class and was conservative with his spending, not like the O's who moved on up, at our great expense, as has Colleen stated.

Bustie, the retiree's pensions have been cut since the democrats have been in office. I know , b/c my guy friend is retired from GM . And the other major companies are doing the same things.
I meant more along the lines of the fact that he took away the ability of Fed. and municipal retirees to collect their social security and other retirements, something which was the case prior to him.

But he did love his country and the people. Nice guy but his politics lacked and Reaganomics was a bust. He did kick Iran's butt for kidnapping and holding Americans hostage however :) Something that Oduma apologized to Iran for...ugh.
Ya got me....Nancy was a real blast too wasn't she? And that Bonzo...what a Chimp off the ole block! lol
Poor Nancy. She got chastised for replacing the White House china because of the expense (an expense that did not cost the tax payers a dime by the way). That was her spending spree. Now look what we have. A first lady who goes on vacation and shopping trips every few weeks to all areas of the world which costs tax payers millions each time and no one says boo. Sigh.
Latest poll, better than 1/2 of America agrees with me. Before the end of this year, the Obamas will no longer be living their way of life on tax payer dollars.
