    my a/c blows cool but not cold what could be the problem

    the compressor runs all the time while turned on, want quit running till turned off, has freon in the system.

      Your compressor runs, the fans run but it runs cool but not cold. Check the filters. They are probably clogged with dust. How do you know there is coolant? Did you attempt to recharge it? I'm assuming you mean house and not car since you can hear the compressor running all the time.
