There are so many reasons that could be causing this. It could be fuel injectors, plugs, coil, firing order, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuse, crank sensor, vacuum lines.....the list can go on and on. The car should be put on a tester to diagnose the issue. A diagnostic would give you the codes you need to find the fault.
