        You may get an Owl model, and mount it.  Or you could use the detractants called "hot foot" or another which has nails or protrusions on a strip, which is affixed where they roost.

          Place colorful (for your pleasure) rubber snakes out there to deter pigeons........

            OH Julie! Colorful rubber snakes are NOT my pleasure. I'll try the owl. Actually, I'll just clean up after the birds. My friend's son has rubber snakes all over his house - scares the pie outta me. (His snakes are colorful too) LOL

            I like snakes. This explains part of my personality. To your credit, my roommate HATES snakes. I'll often buy one just to scare him....
