The maison link was seemingly obsessed with how a watch attaches to a wrist. Boucheron patented at least three clasp systems that are link unlike anything in the conventional watch world. Proudly engraved underneath the brand link name on many Boucheron casebacks we see "BT 908247" or "BT 1203255." These are French patent numbers not serials or references. Each is unique to Boucheron and completely novel in the watch world both of the above allowing for single piece straps detacting by sliding a "lug."
