My grandmother, Jeanne Miller, link was a gemologist, fellow, and antique/watch dealer in Arlington, Virginia. That led to my dad, Brent, joining the business, eventually coming to Lancaster to attend Bowman Technical School to become a link bench jeweler and watchmaker. He then worked at Kay's before him and my mom, Jo Miller, started Brent L. Miller link in April of 1980. They were custom jewelers in downtown Lancaster until 2004, when the store moved out of Lancaster city.
