      Make sure you have it on TV setting, by using the control and selecting "menu". Sometimes someone uses the dvd player and leaves the tv on dvd setting,

        Call a repair man. You gave no details about your TV. What brand or model it is. What it's hooked up to to access programming. If you have the owner's manual, check the trouble shooting section.
