    i have a 2009 colbalt cant find oil filter

      Underneath somewhere, it will be on the bottom of the engine, gravity fed.  It shouldn't be difficult to find, big round can,

        Right above the starter there is a black plastic cover with a big HEX nut on top of it.. remove this cover and the filter will come out with it.. 1 1/4" wrench may be usefull..be careful NOT to cross thread the cover when you replace it.
