Locate the "Power" button.

Locate the "Home" button.

Select and hold both the "Power" and the "Home" buttons simultaneously. Hold both buttons for five seconds and then release them.

The iPhone should automatically shut down and reboot into normal mode. If not, hold both buttons for another five seconds.
