You need the Facebook app for the ipod.
Instructions
1
Tap the "App Store" icon on your Home screen. The application loads.

Tap the "Search" icon on the bottom toolbar of the program interface.

Tap the search field. Type "Facebook" into the text field; then press the "Search" button.

Select the Facebook application from the list of search results. The application's information page loads.

Tap the "Free" button. Then tap the "Install" button. Enter your password into the prompt that appears. Select the "OK" button to download Facebook to the iPod Touch. The application downloads to your Home screen.
