    You may have to reset your anti-theft. The anti-theft is armed and has to be manually reset. If you disconnected your battery to replace the ignition, then that would automatically cause your anti-theft system to engage. If you have a store near you that installs anti-theft systems, they can look your up and tell you how to reset the system manually.
