      We went outside to play everyday. Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall. Rain, snow, hot, and cold weather, we were always outside. We were not allowed to turn on the television without permission first and besides, there were no kids shows on to watch.

        because in the past, kids were always outside playing hard..............playing tag, badminton, croquet, monkey in the middle,,,, climbing trees, flying kites , playing sand lot baseball, flooding an empty field and playing make-shift hockey  in the winter,  ;  swimming in the public pool ,or the creek. . . . . .rollar skating, ice skating,bike riding,  Yes, we did all that years ago.  :-)  and we enjoyed it  !
