The "median" means to find the number in the middle.

You will either have one median or two medians. If the set of data is even, then you will have two medians. Add the two numbers, then divide by two.

If the set of data is odd, then you will have one median.

    There are eight numbers given.

FIRST! PUT THE NUMBERS IN ORDER FROM LEAST TO GREATEST!

    115, 145, 150, 152, 155, 189, 198, 211

The medians are: 152 and 155

    152 + 155 = 307

    307 / 2 = 153.5

    Answer: 153.5
