Angina is chest pain that is a result of inadequate oxygen supply to the heart muscle.

Holmes,    You have to treat every case of angina, as if it were a heart attack. If you have unending, crushing or even not too bad pain in your chest, Left arm , back ,or for that matter, both of your upper arms, and in your jaw , go to the  E. R.  ASAP.

 When my mother used to have pain in both her upper arms, tests showed that it was angina, for which she took pills. She finally had an episode of CHF and a heart attack---had her lungs suctioned out  and was on the respirator. This was when she was 86. She pulled thru that adn went on to lead a pretty much normal life with her meds; but would still occasionally have pain in both her upper arms.
