Click on the gear symbol, top right corner of the screen next to your name. Then click account settings. On the left, see Security. Click it. On the main part of the page, under security settings, at the bottom of the list, see Deactivate account. Click it.

thanks, Colleen. That's invaluable info. I hope after I deactivate it, they'll let me start up a new one. How do you start a new one, BTW ?
Create a new one the same way you created the other one just use a different e-mail address.
