ROMOS - sorry I told Ducky - just couldn,t resist - all girls todgether huh.

    They make the best omelets!

Yes you can.Ducks too! But frankly I would rather eat haggis.

Tommyh - Hi - hope you too are keeping well. My Father was a Scot and I have in my youth been to Scotland so many times - cannot remember the taste of haggis and I do not believe we had this at home here. I vaguely know how it tastes and what it consists of but would not get an ology for guessing.

My father too was a Scot & I have tasted haggis.Pardon my French but it's bloody awful.I was just taking a cheap shot at Romos & Ducky with my answer. Glad you are feeling better Poppy.:)

I've often wondered about people tasting exotic foods (not necessarily duck eggs) but seems when asked they mostly say it tasted just like chicken.....why not just eat chicken

lady70 - yes like Romos said and they are indeed delicious - so are quails eggs. There are just so many (too many to know and tell) eggs we can eat - how about cavier for one? Don't think I would like this myself though.

    ROMOS

    Caviar is very UN-delicious.

ROMOS - HI there - how are you - do hope you are well. I am just here because I had to open this thing. Somewhat out of action - heart procedure some weeks ago and would you believe on good Friday - just thought I would do something about my sight - going from magnifying glass to magnifying glass - would you believe covered left eye to discover I could not hardly if in fact see with the right eye - I should know so much better - so much happening kept saying I must go to opticians. Rang optician on the Thursday and explained also saying I would visit him and have all the tests repeated at the Eye hospital - he said yes and I should go as an emergency to Moorfields and there I was Good Friday evening a wait of 4 hours - nurse said the wait was seven the evening before. Saw this consultant Andrew Scott - I said to him that he was good looking and he said YES - you can see you can go now. Waited around and he saw me again I was the last patient and he said do not forget my name - oh by the way surname same as mine. Sorry long story short had the operation on the 19th April - pretty quick considering the NHS is such rubbish now, mainly due to nurse training I feel. and soon there will not be and NHS so Docs and nurses keep telling me. I will have to have the same operation on the left eye - i.e. removal of cataract this one not so bad and there I was so driving around but not far like I used to - imagine so scary and so stupid - could have killed someone. I'm told I will have a new lease of life - nice thought huh - do hope you are well - I am saying again - clocking off as been on this thing ages trying to sort it drives me insane when eyesight better I will come back more. Are you serious honours in Accountancy huh - clever guy - just read this briefly and Bob's comment - that's all I read. Just love the snooker. Take care of you. Sorry I am talking too much.

ROMOS - so sorry about this drawn out saga - it was just essentially to say how I am sure I am not the only person to neglect their eyes and how this can happen = especially the Afro-Carribean race who forget to get their eyes tested and have a prediposition to Glaucoma.

pythonlover - how are you and I do hope  things are good for you? - do hope you are well too - just popped in I will have to catch up and check how all those other lovely girls are - read my comments to ROMOS - Can you imagine what we would be eating in the jungle let alone here and there huhxoxo Take care of you.

    I find it revolting. We're talking about a duck,people !  Disgusting.

Ah ducks - so much nicer than people!!!!
