Yeah, OK that's a good place to go if you want to give your credit card number out to them. And You don't even know if the document your looking for is really on file. They of course say it's all free and nothing will be charged but what are you giving up really?
I have figured the answer out. There is a switch up in the steering column activated by the park set knob. The problem is when the knob falls off the linkage does activate the switch. Remount with lock nut and washers and good to go. whoowho!
