      Tropper is either a last name or a non American word. Where did you come across the word? 


      In Norwegian, the word tropper means troops in English.

          I Think you are getting mixed up with German Stormtroopers,I take it as a person whoes sees things through thick or thin,

          Also trooper can mean (your right good trooper) which means your a good guy or hard working well that's what it means in the uk
