      No. Vampires are a myth/folklore brought to near life by Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula. Before then, not too many even thought of vampires.

            It's all the rage isn't it? You can hardly get a half decent movie on TV these days unless it's about vampires.Not my cuppa tea I'm afraid.
