Apart from the patient, everyone else in the house is treated with anti-worm drugs. This is done to prevent the spread of infection. Soothing anti-itching ointments or creams are also available to reduce itching. Small children usually cannot bear the rectal pain due to the infection. In such cases, they may be given a sitz bath. In this type of bath, the pelvic region is immersed in lukewarm water.

# To prevent further infection and to ensure that the pinworm eggs do not spread further, proper hygiene has to be maintained. It is best if all bedding, clothing, toys, etc., are machine-washed in hot water. This would kill all the eggs that might have survived the treatment. Toilet seats must be cleaned daily, and fingernails have to be kept short and clean. The most basic and important healthy habit of all is to wash hands properly before meals and after using the toilet.

# Scrubbing of countertops, floors and other surfaces that the infected child touches is necessary to keep the infection from spreading further. Carpets should also be properly vacuumed. It keeps the worms from absorbing glucose, which eventually starves the worms so they can be eliminated. Vermox can be taken in either liquid or chewable tablet form.

Albendazole (Albenza)
Drugs.com says that albendazole, or Albenza, is used to treat common worms and may be used to treat tapeworms in some patients. While taking abendazole, patients should avoid contact with people who have colds or the flu because the drug is known to cause lowered white blood cell counts and anemia in a small number of patients, which can compromise the immune system. Other common side effects from these conditions may include bruising easily, fevers and sore throat, or flu-like symptoms. Albenza is usually prescribed on a multi-day cycle, so it's important to take all doses of the medicine on time according to doctor's orders.
Diethylcarbamazine (Hetrazan)
Hetrazan is prescribed by doctors to treat filariasis, loiasis, onchocerciasis and tropical eosinophilia, which are all parasite infections in humans. Drugs.com says that the most common side effect is itching and swelling of the face, but occasionally fever, painful gland areas or skin rashes may occur. After prolonged use, patients may experience loss of vision or night blindness, so always follow your doctor's directions when taking diethylcarbamazine.
Ivermectin (Stromectol)
Ivermectin is specifically used to treat onchocerciasis (river blindness) and strongyloidiasis, according to MayoClinic.com. It may also be used to treat Bancroft's filariasis and scabies. Common side effects of ivermectin include fever, itching and skin rashes; painful glands; headaches and dizziness; and diarrhea. Because ivermectin may cause lightheadedness, driving or operating machinery is generally not recommended while taking the prescription. It may be taken for up to three months to completely get rid of the infection.
Praziquantel (Biltricide)
Praziquantel is used to treat certain worm infections such as tapeworms, snail fever, schistosomiasis and bilharziasis. MayoClinic.com says it is not prescribed for pinworms or other roundworm infections. Common side effects include dizziness, stomach cramps, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fever and headaches. Occasionally, skin rashes and hives have been reported. The tablets have a distinctive bitter taste that may cause gagging, so the pills should be swallowed quickly to avoid tasting them. Usually the treatment is finished in one day, but the doctor may prescribe followup treatments if infection recurs

A new doctor may be able to help. Are you seeing a dermatologist? Have you shown the parasites to a doctor? They should be able to determine what the parasite is. My guess is it could be mange or fleas but fleas are pretty obvious.

sounds like you're taking meds for fungus, not parasites. Go to the drug store, and buy the over the counter liquid meds that they give to kids for round worms or pin worms. Take some of that.
You can even get tape worms from dogs, b/c those little wiggly white eggs at a dog or cat's anus is actually tape worm segments. And, if those dogs/ cats aren't wormed, they will get tape worms.

Food grade diatomaceous earth may help. Look it up. Feed it to our dogs and cat everyday in their food. I take it too . I use about a good heaping tablespoon in cereal. Dogs get the same amount. You should get your blood looked at under a microscope .

Hi, You need to detox your system.Drink 8oz. glass purified water-1Tb.fresh lemon juice-dash of cayenne

pepper, 1/2 tsp. raw honey-1 garlic clove- 1/2 tsp. olive oil.. Drink 1/2hr. before you eat solid foods.

Keep your system in a Alkaline State by avoiding "sugar", white rice, bread and pasta. Add 1/4 slice

of fresh lemon to your spring water or alkaline water before each meal. This will help to rid your body of parasites as well as detoxing your body.

get rid of the pets cat or dog as this is the real cause.you have taken so much and still not cured.

so on empty stomach take some natural yogurt and some natural honey and same in the evening before meals half an hour.

drink plenty of water with lemon juice and some salt.

Grind seeds of lemons and take this with little salt and water.in the day time take one tomoto and put some peppers on this .This is very good for this.do this for  week and so.eat the tomotoes twice a day but all of the above before meals 30 minutes before.

pin worms cannot live in a person who will drink a beer once in a while..beer kills them.
