Agreed. If a person has kids in the house, lock up all weapons. Keep knives and scissors out of reach. Lock up all poisons. Unfortunately, there are stupid people in this world. Now there is one less and I do not mean that in a joking way. He should never have had a gun out where a 3 year old could get it. Good example of why people need to be responsible when owning a gun.

I am surprised the father was not armed at the time then he could have taken his son out.
Some people who visit this site seem to believe that the only way to stop gun deaths is to have more guns.

Good point ROMOS, perhaps if the Brits had more of a gun culture Philpott would have killed or been killed sooner.
