    I am trying to disconnect a CPA connector on a 1996 gmc

    its not a simple plug like it shows in the haynes mannual.Its more like a two step deal

      Go to Autozone's website http://www.autozone.com/autozone/, create a fast free account, click on the repair help tab, then vehicle repair guides, then fill in your vehicle information and look up how to replace the CPA connector. Or call your local auto parts store and see if they have a solution.
