how do I confirm my incredibly high gas bill is correct other than meter reading
Two senior citizens using one bedroom two reception kitchen and bathroom in a large house with all other radiators on frost setting has resulted in a Gas bill for £430 for 6 wks The heating is on for 71/2 hours per day at 16c setting The only other gas appliance is a hob.

Check with your gas supplier, that is quite a big bill,or try your local citizens advice office.

Gas supplier says it must be correct according to meter
There's not much you can do then, try going to citizens advice, they will give you good guidance.
