@bustione...I hear you. I too experienced more than enough drama when I was working with large groups of people. It was fun, here on aka, when I first arrived, with a lot of interactions. Unfortunately, someone has no clue about "group dynamics". It works the same, even if the vote-ups are cut down to 3 per day! And cream floats to the top, doesn't it...all on its own.
Duck, I, as you may know was asked to consider being a mod. and I had to think if 1. I had the time to dedicate and do the job, and 2. If I really wanted to put up with the drama. I made the correct decision and declined, although I was flattered to have been asked...
No bustione, I did not know that you had been asked to be a mod. Drama can be reduced by a calm response from a mod, but of course, that doesn't always happen. For me, the time commitment was made very clear with admin, BEFORE I even accepted..."as time allows...not dictated by anyone". My busy, active and involved "real life" comes first! I do fully understand your decision.
I am a moderator. I am an unpaid, volunteer and I function the same as any volunteer does, in any organization. Administration makes money, controls the site, has final say. I have communicated with admin, twice in one year, very different from all previous volunteer positions that I have held.
It is a great thing that you do to give your time Ducky, but at this time, it is not something I can do.
Thanks busti...I understand. I only give the time that I can afford and I'll only stay until it is no longer enjoyable.

Not leaving Duckers...just real busy with my little chick..prepping her for major spinal fusion surgery...takes alot of time and energy...swimming 3x/week and alot of travel back and forth to the continent....holding it all together...much more on the plate than usual doll...loves ya...peace. LL xox

Thank you Miss Ann...so far so good...she's getting stronger lung capacity and heart muscles as we're swimming with her 3 times a week...our visit to hospital was long and tiring but with positive outlooks ! Thanks for the love and prayers Ann ! peace LL :)
Hi Miss Ann, my girl is getting powerful strong now as we head to dates of Sept 30 and Oct 3rd for surgery...all is well! ;) xox LL

Everything went real well at the hospital hector et al but I wouldn't let them catscan my chick as they were already doing an MRI scan so no big doses of radiation for her dammit!! Driving in Van city was like doing the autobon...wow...my girls were like..."Maaaaawm!" as we whizzed thru traffic...what with all the coppers' sirens and blinkin' lites everwhere....how was I to know it was me they were after? ...anyway...I lost them in traffic....finally. LOL 8D xox LL

Surgery hasn't been slated yet but we know it will occur before or by Summertime...it's kinda scary but we/she are getting our heads wrapped around as much information and testimonials as possible..I love you guys and gals...thank you so much for all your support and understanding and love streams...we need 'em !! xox LL

Thanks so much billyboy1...my little lady is doing well considering the severity of the scoliosis...but we have the best surgeons on the planet working her case and for that...be assured new friend...we are extremely grateful!!

woow! maybe its a sign.....(cant think what..) Hope nobody hurt and your nerves are calmer.. Are you living out in the wilds or was it a random appearance ?? I live in the UK South West of England. We do have deer parks.....xxx
A sign...what a riot! It's a sign that we have DEER! I was expecting Sasquatch as we have them too...but they tend not to crash through the forest around here...they're stealth and very quiet in their comings and goings! ;D ( Vancouver Island, French Creek!)
