    what is the significance of ".name" as web extension rather than .com or .co.uk etc

    .name simply makes the address more personal to you. .com is more wildly recognized as a trusted form for say and internet business. co.uk, just shows where the page domain is located.

    No, I think you need to change the .name part. Try putting it as .com if you can. .name appears to be an option you can use if you upgrade and pay for a domain.
