Do you think the criticism posed by these groups was valid? Why or why not?
President Franklin D. Roosevelt is the only president to have been elected to the presidency more than twice—he was elected four times. In spite of his popularity with the American public, his New Deal policies were challenged by groups across the political spectrum from Republicans to Conservative Democrats, to Socialists and Progressives, to the Supreme Court. Do you think the criticism posed by these groups was valid? Why or why not?
