Making something easy ensures more participation and more successful completion. So many expect simple, and those who "control" are finding out that dumbing down increases the likelihood they will maintain control. Challenging curriculum or circumstances are avoided when the instant gratification mentality is satisfied. One gets a false sense of his intelligence, which can lead to a real difficult eye opening experience in the future.
I think stuff should,in general, progress in difficulty or experience needed for success.I
