You can delete it if you want. Not sure what you downloaded but if it bothers you to have it in the computer, go ahead and delete it,

I downloaded the Gormin North American Map Upgrade 2013 on my PC.Then installed it om my Gormin 2595 GPS
OK, then if you feel you will never need the download again, delete it. That file is small enough however that it will use a dust spec of space on your hard drive.
