Do you mean the company lost it? Do you have proof you had one? If the company does not work to find it, hire a lawyer.

no i worked at pergament and they went out of business and i had left the job
A lawyer should take the case and collect his fees after you get your money. All lawyers give a free consultation. At least try. Call one tomorrow.
