    Can Comets travel up away from the horizon or do they have a particular path or direction of travel?

    For next 22 days look around sunset where sun was setting. Just above sunset there is a comet. Look slightly below the moon and to the left.

    I was watching it with binoculars just last night and ooohing and ahhhing...wow...I could see it flaring with a nice rooster tail...wow! ;)

    They move forward.....on their own path....
