doing a tune-up on a 2001 dodge 2500 pick-up it has a 360 v-8 gasoline engine (5.9 liter) i replaced the distributor, the distributor cap and rotor,as well as the sparkplugs and ignition wires and was wondering do i use a timing light to set the timing and turn the distributor to get it to where it lines up on the harmonic balancer and timing plate?

it seems to run pretty good as i have it but was wondering if i needed to fine tune it or does it do it itself by sensors

You shouldn't have to, the emissions computer should take care of any minor adjustments on it's own
