      If it's 6:00 pm in Kansas it is 1 :00 am the next day in Nigeria.

        It is 9 hours later in Nigeria than in California, which I think is 2 hours earlier than Kansas. So, if  it is noon on 3/7/13 in Kansas, it is 6 P.M. in Nigeria,  3/7/13
