If you find a warning when your downloading files, it could be your anti-virus alerting you because the types of files that you are downloading have very often been corrupted and have a likelyhood of carrying viruses that will harm your computer.
Not all of these file types are corrupted, although if they are you would want to be warned.
Also, it is always a good idea to scan anything you download before you open it.
