I have a 2002 F350 pickup. In the mornings below 85 degrees, the a/c will freeze me out. The hotter it gets after that , it goes hot to cold, hot to cold. WHY

With engine warmed up and temp. rising, raise hood with engine running and a/c temp. selector set at coldest: watch A/C compressor clutch. It should be constanly turning; if it cuts in and out, that is an indication of low freon in the system. Put in one can of freon(with stop-leak), if it continues to cycle add more.

It could also be the thermostat in the a/c unit. See about having the thermostat checked and or replaced.
