If you think that you drink too much, or if someone has suggested that to you, maybe you should try to drink NO WINE in a day. Many people only have an occasional glass of wine with a meal. Some never drink wine or alcohol ever.

You needn't drink any wine but if you do choose to drink a "normal amount" would be 1 glass at dinner.

It's mostly a cultural behaviour. Europeans (minus the Brits) consume considerably more wine than North Americans. Some enjoy it more than others. Like all alcoholic beverages, it's about knowing YOUR limit and acting responsibly.

I didn't know drinking wine was required to be an adult.  I guess I am not an adult, I don't wine.

but from what I hear, 2 8 oz glasses should be the limit. In my case, I would be falling down drunk halfway through the first glass.
