I'd feel safer there than Oakland CA. I am only 40 miles from there and you can't pay me to go there As a matter of fact a few weeks ago, I was asked to go there on business, I said NO! I will not!
My neighbor just got back from Israel, he says that the 'locals' just go on with life, not much you can do about it. Chances of being involved are higher than most places but still very slim.
