how to diagnose a Toshiba 50hx70 tv thaat got hi volt arcing at the projector bulb hi voltage connections
uit was in storage in an unheated garage - potential hi humidity, when moved to another location and turned on there was loud snapping/arcing noises. checked further and found hi volatge arcing at 2 of the 3 projection tube hi voltage conections. thease appaer to be sealed/bonded connection points, the arciing comes from the cable end boot where the cable enters it. similar to a spark plug ign wire on a car.
