i changed the only flasher i could find, i pulled it out and tried the four ways and they would not work so thats when i knew the signals are on a seperate flasher. if i move the signal switch left or right the signal bulbs do light up bright but no intermittent circuit.

There should only be one flasher. Are you sure it's not a bad bulb?

i replaced the one flasher i found which is for the fourways, still no change. the signal lights do come on but no flash, all the bulbs work. the indicators on the dash even light up.

Have you checked the fuse? While you're at it, you may find the second flasher unit in the fuse box or next to it.
