      Why would you want to? What are you going to do with a dead body?

        If they're in their right mind, and that is their wishes, I don't see how you can contest it. My mother was leaning toward cremation, but we talked her out of it. For one thing, my dad wasn't cremated. He was laid out. She had a plot next to him in the cemetary.And that is where she rests.
