    where is the screw to tighten the bar on my mtm chainsaw?

    Do you mean tighten the bar Or tighten the chain? The bar nuts are usually on the right hand side.The chain tensioner is generally right beside the bar on the engine side.It's probably obscured by oil & sawdust so you can't see it.
