        My friend is at the moment type 2,and is afraid it will lead to type 1,and is in fear of needles,

        Believe me, you get over the fear really, really fast. You just feel so awful! I developed it at age 19 and I would just sit and cry....but I got over it. Now it's been 37 yrs.

        Each situation is different. Type I or type II and prescription or supliments. What works well for me may do nothing for you and visa versa. Listen to your doctor and dietician and try some of the many suppliments that are available.

            Exercise is very important to lower blood sugar. I am Type2 and well controlled with attention to diet, taking medication and exercise.
