There is a machine at some cell phone stores that can unlock your phone by resetting it to factory settings, but you will lose all of your information that is stored. This is a major pain because it takes a lot of time to add all of your contacts again. And if you are like most folks you have information stored in your phone that you don’t have written down somewhere else. So, what can you do to save your information in your phone and unlock your phone? The following tip really works, it might take some time, but it will get your phone unlocked and back in working order. Plus, you will have all of your phone numbers and can then create a new password that is easier to remember!


First, think of what your password could possibly be. If you think it begins with a 9 or a 7 then start there. Your password is only four numbers, so it can only be any variation of 1-9 for each digit. This means if you start at 0000 and go to 9999 you will encounter your password. It is timesaving if you have an idea of the number the password begins with, but if you don’t you can still go 0000 – 9999 in a day’s work. Simply punch in 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003 and so on and so forth until you reach your password. You can start at 7000 and go to 8000 first if you think your password begins with 7 or any variation like this. You don’t have to start at 0000, just keep track of where you start and the numbers you have tried so you won’t repeat any numbers. Eventually, your phone will unlock and all the work will be worth it!
