    How do I put the ring that goes in the center of the bottom part that sits atop the water. This plastic ring shaped piece has a groove in it.

        Oster Steamer. How do I put the bottom plate and the plastic ring that goes into the center of the bottom piece please? This ring shaped object has a small groove in it. Do I put the ring in so it touches the bottom with the groove on the bottom?
