        i want to make a barber pole using red white blue white stripes each 4 inches wide and the pole is 6 feet long. I painted the pole white and when using said stripes (template)i loose one whole stripe(width) before getting full length of pole why? and how do I correct this ?

        I can't tell you this. I've never made a barber pole. I just research answers on the internet and I got you the answer to your original question. I do not even know the template you used.

        I made a template with paper and when I used 4 stripes of equal 3 1/2 inch width beginning at 45 degree angle I loose spacing on one stripe before the end of pole.I had searched that same site you did and they are only talking 1 and 2 inch stripes
