      I have the same problem, some of these remotes will not programme into the sound function, even the tech guy couldn't get mine to work, still have to use the TV remote for the sound.

        I Drop the old one,and this is the second one that will not tune in,and have to youse the t/v control as well,like yourself ROMOS,
