Do not trap wild birds. It's against the law. If you want a finch, they sell them in pet stores.

Finches peep peep peep all the time. I don’t find them loveable. Have to clean their cage forever. I put mine in beautiful cages on the front lawn with a big sign that read FREE BIRDS!
